Our 2012 New York tour is all wrapped up – and we’re blown away by the Big Apple’s rapturous response to our performances. Standing ovation followed standing ovation, and then people rushed onto social media to send us more love. Here are a few of our favourites (and some pics of us storming the city). Thanks New York – you couldn’t have made us feel more welcome!

Such wonderful comments, bravo to everyone!
Invited to Saturday matinee performance of Swan Lake, I wasn’t prepared to discover Amber Scott. She was a master of fluidity and daring, of poise, strength AND courage. I recovered long forgotten flashbacks to the electrifying experience of watching Margot Fonteyn – eblouissante! – although they’re quite distinct as dancers.
Afterwards I chose a fantastic restaurant to properly salute the experience. To check myself I had to get to the final performance, on Sunday: Check!! But, also, on Sunday the magnificent orchestra came into its own as an overwhelming experience.
I’m a fan. I’m a fan. I’m a fan. – - I couldn’t afford the tickets if they stayed on.
As a long time subscriber to the Australian Ballet, this mopnth I have just relocated to USA for work: so will be missing the rest of this year’s ballets and Qualia in November, much to my chagrin. But this was partially compensated to see the superb performance warranting the standing ovation for Swan Lake at the Lincoln Center on Saturday night: made me feel very patriotic and proud! Come back to the US so I don”t miss out! I took my sister who lives in Canada and who is not a regular ballet attendee: she loved it too!
