Step inside The Australian Ballet By Lynette Wills

Over a period of 18 months, Principal Artist Lynette Wills kept her camera at the ready as the company rehearsed, toured and performed. Wills’ photographs offer a unique insider’s view on the life of a professional dancer with intimate portraits taken in rehearsal studios and theatre stages around Australia. The fruits of her labour have been collected in a beautiful coffee table book called Step Inside The Australian Ballet.

I can’t wait to get a copy of this book. It seems like a great book of behind the ballet photographs. Exactly the type of thing I would like to have a look at.

is there any writing in the book.. like things the dancers have said or memories or narration, or just pictures?

There’s is a written introduction, but the book is very much about Lynette’s beautiful photographs.
