Hi Joanna,
Wear and tear on the feet are part of a dancers’ life, but it can be mitigated. For instance, Amber uses toe spacers in her pointe shoes and does exercises in the morning in order to strengthen the muscles that move the big toe in a direction that counters the effect of the bunion. The shoes of all our dancers (both male and female) are specially fitted to each individual to ensure they don’t contribute to bunions.

That's an impressive bunion! How does Amber manage that when she's in pointe shoes all day?

Please, please with a cherry on the top make this work!

The AB needs to get into the area of firing the imagination. This work from your report looks like it just may be the goods. The spoken word, for example, can be electric, I've seen (heard) it. I really am hoping that risks are being taken and that limits are being stretched. I am also (desperately) hoping that the dancers go for it with all they've got!!

I want to be able to go back and see it a second time.

Hi Peter,
Swan Lake is entirely Stephen Baynes' choreography - Alice is just asking him something about her movements. Good to know you're a fan of Alice's beautiful choreography - she's a real up-and-coming star!

Excellent photo report.
Am I hoping for too much to imagine, from the report, that Alice Topp will have some input into the choreography?
