Majority of the dancers employed by the fledgling company were drawn from former members of the Borovansky Ballet.

I have always wanted to be a fly-on-the-wall backstage with the Australian Ballet - but a fly with a camera would be even better. Congratulations to Lynette for capturing the moments, the insights, all that we in the audience have always wanted to see.

I never believed that you are born to be a dancer, but my 8yr old daughter has proved me wrong...... Since she started talking (18mths) she has told my husband and I she is going to be a ballerina when she grows up. She is now 8yrs of age and still says the same, except that she now states she will be accepted into the Australian Ballet by her early teens. I would love to be able to give her a copy of this stunning book. I wish her all the luck in her dancing career.

I enjoy seeing talented artists turning the spotlight onto the worlds they know so intimately. The dancers of the Australian Ballet are so beautifully photogenic - combined with Lynette Will's artistry, "Step Inside the Australian Ballet" is guaranteed to be an enduring record of what often just lives in one's memory.
